• Our Jeep XJ Overhead Console MOLLE Panel is designed to fit the ’97-’01 body style XJ. This part will not install into an earlier model XJ. Some newer XJ’s were also sold with the old style dome light, double check before purchasing if you aren’t sure.
• While the front-most mounting points attaches solidly to the roof structure of your jeep XJ, the rear most mounting points at the dome light do not attach to the roof structure directly due to the construction of the dome light itself, and will have have the same small amount of up and down deflection that the dome light has. We always recommend keeping heavier objects mounted low in the vehicle for safety. Only attach small/lightweight/soft storage solutions overhead (i.e. smaller molle bags). Be conscious of weight when outfitting your panel.
