Shipping, Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Trail & Co.
If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns.
The following terms are applicable for any products that you purchased with us.
Shipping
Trail & Co. is a small 2-man team, and due to time restrictions with our careers and families we make all our parts in batches every 2-3 weeks. In the event we have a large influx of orders, we will outsource the production to make sure you get your parts as soon as possible. If your item is in stock at the time of purchase, it will be shipped out asap! If one or more of the items in your order is out of stock, it will be included in the next batch of production and then shipped out together. Please keep in mind that when purchasing a back-ordered item it could be a few weeks before we get it sent out to you. Thank you for being patient with us as we try to fulfill as many orders as possible!
For products produced by our third party partners, the shipping of said item will be subject to the shipping policy of said vendor.
Conditions for Cancellations
For all products supplied and produced by Trail & Co., you are entitled to cancel your at any time prior to order shipping. Custom or otherwise built-to-fit orders must be cancelled within 3 days, and are subject to restocking fees based on the work completed before cancellation.
Cancelled orders will be accompanied by a full refund, with the potential exception of custom orders as described above. Orders which have already been shipped cannot be cancelled, however a return can be requested. See return conditions below.
For orders which include items supplied by one of our third party partners, your order can be cancelled at any time prior to your order being processed by Trail & Co. and received by our vendor. While Trail & Co. will assist in the cancellation of orders after this point, the cancellation of said order will ultimately be at the discretion of the third party partner supplying the product. No orders can be cancelled once they have been shipped.
To cancel an order, please reach out to us by e-mail at info@trail-co.com. Once processed and approved, you will receive a notification via email that your order has been cancelled and the details of your refund will be enclosed.
You will be reimbursed no later than 14 days from the day on which your order is successfully cancelled. While refunds are typically processed instantly, there can sometimes be delays in processing. Refunds will be applied to the same method of purchase used to place the original order, and you will not be charged any fees for this cancellation.
Conditions for Returns
In order to initiate a return, please reach out to us by e-mail at info@trail-co.com. Qualified returns are eligible for either a refund or replacement. Once your return request is processed and approved, you will receive return instructions via email. When your item is received by Trail & Co., its condition will be inspected and you will be issued a refund or replacement depending on the request if the item is deemed to be in acceptable condition.
In the event that you need to return an item to us, in order for the item to be eligible for a return, replacement, or refund, it must adhere to the following:
- The goods were delivered within the last 30 days.
- The goods are in the original packaging, or are returned to us in adequate packaging to prevent damage during shipping.
- The goods have not been installed, modified, damaged, painted, etc, and are in otherwise new and unused condition.
All returns will require a prior review and authorization by Trail & Co. to ensure we can accept your item. We may request pictures of your item prior to return to verify that items are in acceptable condition. For items returned that do not adhere to the above requirements, no refund or replacement will be issued, and the customer will be given the option to pay for shipping for the item to be returned to them, or have the item be disposed of at no charge.
The customer will be responsible for return shipping on any returned items produced by Trail & Co. Trail & Co. shall not be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.
In order to offer our customers the highest quality service possible, Trail & Co. may opt to cover the cost of return shipping for items that are produced by Trail & Co. and returned for the following reasons, with proper documentation:
- Item was received damaged, defective, or in otherwise unacceptable condition.
- Item demonstrates quality control or design issues preventing proper installation.
For any items received in damaged condition, Trail & Co. reserves the right to request photos of the damaged item, as well as the damaged packaging, to verify this claim. Damaged items which are no longer accompanied by the original packaging will not be accepted for a refund or replacement.
The customer is responsible for proper return packaging. Items received by Trail & Co. in damaged condition which are not properly packaged will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.
As mentioned above, all items purchased through Trail & Co. which are supplied by our third party partners are subject to the return and refunds policies of said vendor. Returns of third party items are eligible for a refund only. While Trail & Co. will assist in the return of items supplied by our partners, the acceptance and terms of said return will ultimately be at the discretion of the third party partner supplying the product. In the event that a restocking fee is required by our third party partner for your return, this fee will be deducted from the overall refund.
Any built-to-fit or otherwise customized items are not eligible for return
We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.
